10 Options for Active Recovery:

Active recovery :

With average HR below 150 BPM:

Option 1: 30 minute row

Option 2: 30 minute Airdyne

Option 3: Go swimming or jogging for 20-30 minutes, or longer, at an easy pace, focusing on stroke technique and breathing.

Option 4: Schedule a 1 hour massage.

Option 5: Stretch and breath intentionally for 30 minutes to an hour or more.

Option 6: Go on a walk for 30 minutes to an hour

Option 7: 10 minutes to an hour or more seated meditation. 

Option 8: Food prep for the next 3-4 days

Option 9: Play a fun sport, like basketball, baseball, spike-ball, prokadima, ping-pong, foosball, tennis, racquet ball, badminton, bocci, etc. Have fun doing something that forces you to "get in the zone." 

Option 10: 10-20 minutes Handstand Practice.
